The person behind The Trader's Ledger
I'm Tris, a UK-based trader, and I've been around the markets my whole life. I built The Trader's Ledger because I wanted a journal that answered one question honestly: which of my setups actually make me money?
Most trading journals are either a spreadsheet you stop filling in after a week, or a monthly subscription for features you never use. I wanted something simple: log a trade in about a minute, see your real win rate and R by setup and session, and spot the patterns you can't see trade by trade.
So the Ledger is a one-time purchase, with no subscription, and your trades stay in your own browser.
My father was a broker for 40 years, so markets were part of my life long before I placed a trade of my own. I worked on client investments from the late 1980s, and in the early 90s I was a software designer, writing systems in COBOL. Those two worlds, money and software, are what The Trader’s Ledger is built from.
If all those years taught me one thing, it’s that you can’t shortcut discipline. A setup learned from a 20-minute video isn’t an edge. An edge is a written plan, risk you can live with, and an honest record of every trade, so that your own numbers tell you what works. That’s the habit the Ledger is designed to build.
The traders who need a journal most are often the ones who have already lost money finding out why. So the Ledger is £19, paid once (the launch price until 31 December 2026, then £39), with every future update included and a 14-day money-back guarantee. No subscription, ever.
I’ll be teaching the method and trading live, so you can see exactly how I plan, take and log my trades, losing ones included. Join the mailing list to be the first to hear.
Alongside the Ledger I build trading indicators for MetaTrader and TradingView, including the TTL Volume Profile Pro. I also run Storm Trader, a community for trading strategies, technical analysis and mentorship.
Charts, tools and lessons on YouTube (Stormtrader), and news and offers on The Trader’s Ledger on Facebook. For strategy, analysis and mentorship, join Storm Trader on Facebook.
